Little Moments, Big City Smiles

They say, ‘New Yorkers are rude,’ but I see it differently. New Yorkers aren’t rude—they’re just always on the move, hustling from point A to B.

For my design thesis, I created a series of colorful, bold posters with positive affirmations and uplifting messages. I used bright colors and simple designs to make sure each poster stands out and brings a bit of joy to anyone who sees it.

I imagined these posters being placed all around New York City—on subway platforms, bus stops, and busy streets—to add some brightness to people's daily routines. My goal was to remind commuters that even in the rush of city life, kindness and connection are always there.

No matter how fast life moves, we can still share small moments of positivity and remind each other that we’re all part of something bigger.
